TA _ PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA MATA PELAJARAN PKN MATERI KERJA SAMA DI SD INPRES BASMUTI

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 4 pada mata
pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKN) Materi kerja sama melalui penerapan metode
demonstrasi di SD Inpres Basmuti. Metode demonstrasi dipilih karena dinilai efektif dalam
membantu siswa memahami nilai-nilai Kerja sama secara konkret melalui simulasi, role
play, atau kegiatan interaktif lainnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian
Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Arikontu (2010), yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap
siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian
adalah siswa kelas 4 SD Inpres Basmuti dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 20 orang. Data
dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi aktivitas siswa, dan dokumentasi. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil
belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 65%, kemudian meningkat
menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dan pemahaman
yang lebih baik terhadap nilai-nilai Kerja sama. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah
metode demonstrasi efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar PKN Materi kerja sama pada
siswa kelas 4 SD Inpres Basmuti. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar guru menggunakan
metode ini sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan bermakna.

Abstract
This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 4 students in the
subject of Civic Education (PKN) Cooperation material through the application of the
demonstration method at SD Inpres Basmuti. The demonstration method was chosen because
it is considered effective in helping students understand the values of Cooperation concretely
through simulation, role play, or other interactive activities. The research method used is
Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the Arikontu (2010) model, which consists of two
cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages.
The research subjects were 4th grade students of SD Inpres Basmuti with a total of 20
participants. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, student activity
observations, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the
demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes. In cycle I, classical
completeness reached 65%, then increased to 85% in cycle II. In addition, students showed
active participation and better understanding of Cooperation values. The conclusion of this
research is that the demonstration method is effective in improving the learning outcomes of
Civics Education on Cooperation material for grade 4 students of SD Inpres Basmuti.
Therefore, it is recommended that teachers use the demonstration method.
